Blue Beetle [2023]

DC’s “Blue Beetle,” directed by Angel Manuel Soto, makes its cinematic debut with Xolo Maridueña embodying the lead role of Jaime Reyes. As a recent graduate returning home, Jaime’s life takes an incredible turn as an ancient alien relic, the Scarab, merges with him. This fusion empowers him with a remarkable suit and unpredictable powers, leading him to embrace his superhero persona, Blue Beetle. The star-studded cast features Adriana Barraza and Susan Sarandon, while Soto’s vision is brought to life by experts like DP Pawel Pogorzelski and production designer John Billington. “Blue Beetle” graces international screens in August 2023.
